my 260 builds

Hahaha this thread is awesome. And the factory federal blue box 6.5x55 "garbage" I picked up locally to get my scope on paper was actually suprisingly accurate. Could just be the Shilen select match bull barrel though ;). Been pushing pressures way past posted maximums thus far and have a few tweaks left to fine tune my High node load with the 140's. It helps using a modern action like the savage/stevens to really open up the true potential of this chambering. LOVE the 6.5!

After or before make little important, what important is doing it properly, a proper flue will take at lease 5 to 7 cut per flue depending on dept of flue, Each cut should be no more than .015 to .020 depending on cutter diameter, and using lot of cutting flu will help.

if allgoes as planned the Tac 21 will be here Friday ,Saturday I will bed it and prep for paint Sunday Paint and I got all day monday to test!

Taking the Plunge

You guys are bastages ! I have been communicating with Sean about a custom build as well. I was 90% sure of the build but did not know much about the man or the company. Now it will be a 100% go ahead, and not to highjack this thread but I will be doing it in .243 A.I. I am not trying to start a debate about caliber choices but the .260 and .243A.I. are very similar in performance, but they are different as well ( that sounds goofy). The point is Sean seems like a worthy builder and this is what I have wanted for quite a while now. Shhhhhh. Don't want him to know how bad I want this.

I would have liked to go 260AI but my rifles need to feed out of a mag and sometimes the AI dont feed
