My 30 round mag for 597 on the way

Semi-related question -is it ok(legal from both a US and a Canadian standpoint) to order rimfire stuff from the US? Mags, triggers, etc? (I'm a noob to rimfire stuff). I searched around, couldn't find anything.

I got to test my mag today.
The first test was with the Fed. 525 bulk pack from C.tire fired 20 rounds then had a ftf and the rest went ok

The second test was using DynaPoint bulk (which is what works best in my factory mags) and I now had Single shot rifle if I was lucky,The round would hit the front of the mag and would not come out, even unloading it by hand was a pain.

3RD time was again with the 525 bulk Fed.ammo and it was a nightmare all over again, I tried shaving some plastic off to tweak it a bit but no luck.

AAHHHHHHHHHH:mad:
I wounder if I cane get my $ back?

I have (like many people) been watching these for a while, has no one got one to work yet?

Any word from the factory?

This is very dissapointing. :(

The factory supposedly has fixed the feed angle problem. But at 73 CAN for 2 mags plus 30+ dollars to UPS do you really want to gamble? I am still trying to tweak mine... looking like a lost cause though, am going to phone them this week and #####.

Yeah, I cannot justify that kind of money for a couple of magazines that are not perfect.

I guess I will stick to the factory mags, mine are working ok now, I just wish they held more than 10 rounds.

Good luck with the factory, I hope they make it right.

Why do you guys pay those thieving bastards at UPS?Refuse the package at your door and tell them you will clear it through customs yourself. Then go to the UPS office, pickup the paper work, head off to border Services, pay the tax and be done with it.I guess if you live in the middle of nowhere it wouldn't save you any money but if you live near an airport it sure would.
