I took some pics tonight with the two different Speed Feed stocks.

Nice gun.
IMHO Pistol grip stocks don't work well on Mossberg's...
...unless you've got abnormally long fingers.

Thanks. The trigger is OK. I find the stock a little longer than what I'm used to.

I really like the controls of the Mossberg with a regular stock.
Everything(safety, action release) can be worked with minimal movement from the trigger hand.
The regular butt stock speedfeed with shell holders would be my pick.

I thought about a pistol grip for my 590A1 but the tang safety would be a pain to use, left the stocker on it. Nice gun isn't it.

I've got the 20" A1 with the regular SpeedFeed stock and love it. Great gun and have never had a hiccup with it. Heavy though with the millspec barrel.

pistol grip works with mine....I find it MUCH easier to shoot with it now; getting to the safety and action release aren't that difficult!

I've got a 500 model with the pistol grip speed feed. I greatly prefer the pistol grip!

Very nice. If you have the A1 or SP model you can get yourself an M7/M9 bayonet and really cheese off the NDP.

same here and I beat mine up pretty bad...It is a bit heavy but pays for it's self with better muzzle rise control IMHO.
