I am almost done with my modifications. All I have to do now is treading the muzzle to accept the birdcage flash hider, and install the front sight kit with the front sling swivel.

I really wanted to give it a '' AR '' look, and I am quite happy with the results.

This is it before:

What kind of magazine is on that? All the high cap ones Ive seen are bananas.

It is only the original 10 Rnds mag extended by a steel airsoft MP5 magazine.

It is about the same size and eazy to fit together with a bit of JB weld.

I wish I could find a functional high capacity AR like magazine for it. I believe '' Banana'' magzine look great on AK or Krinks but no good match with the AR look alike rifles.

Where did you get the rail that the carry handle is on???? Looks great.

I bought it on the net and hand fitted it. Had to shape the font to fit over the front yoke and added a small piece of black composite fiber (that I had to shape to fit) between the rail and the receiver (at the back) to fill the gap where the receiver drops.

Very cool...normally i do not like the conversions cause they are ugly. yours is as good as it can be.

I now have more plans for it ! I Just bought a front grip mag holder (like the one in the picture) on eBay and am planning to make a Magazine housing with it. If my plans work, I will make a complete AR look alike magazine housing and trigger guard with it. Then will attach it to the actual magazine well and use a airsoft AR magazine body to modifiy the magazine. Will find out if this can work as soon I receive all the parts !:D

That's gonna look hideous with a mag-holder on the fore-rail... IMHO

Not a bad job with the rest though...

:yingyang:

Actually I will see If I can fit it to the current mag well. If possible, I know it will require lots of modifications. I have only seen it on picture so I dont even know yet if it is physically possible. But I like this kind of challenge and if there is a way to make it fit and look good, I will give it a try. otherwise I will just trash that idea ! ;)

Any chance of the details of the rear rail purchase, there is a lot of choices out there, like where and what item, also you must have turned that barrel, otherwise the rear sight would be way to low for that front sight.

The rail on the rifle comes that way from factory.

He didn't turn the barrel, he had it milled for threading & fitted a front AR sight. He also added the rear carry handle w/sight.

:)

Actually the rail is a longer one modified at both end. Shimmed at the back where the receiver drops, and modified at the front to fit over the front yoke.

The barrel as been reduce in diameter on a lathe to fit the front sight bass
e and flash hider at the muzzle.
