My 7x57 & Reloder 17 ---Wow!

-The cold batch of ammo went in the clubhouse freezer (a cooler full of regular ice also works).
-The room temperature ammo just sat on the bench
-The high temperature ammo was wrapped in a heating pad and put in a small cooler. 175F is only 80C...

Hrmm wonder if anyone's tried it in 6.5x55. I was getting good velocity with IMR4350. (not in an old swede, in a modern action).

slightly off topic, but I run a surplus powder that is like RL 22 in my 7x57. I have a milsurp model 98 with a full length barrel. I get slightly over 2600 fps with a hornady 175 grain round nose, and like you are doing with the RL 17, I get no signs of pressure.
