Just noticed you are from Duncan, I lived there for 3 years back in the mid 90's, worked for an engineering firm on Canada Ave. right beside Margret heath centre place and live in that apartment building on top of Sherman road and spent fair amount of time at Hank's Handy Market when the Chow's use to own it.

I sure missed North Cowichan Valley area.

Doing gun stuff with Dad is something every boy should get to do at least once. Be that some amateur gunsmithing or just cleaning the firearms after a fun day at the range, it's an excellent bonding experience. Good on you!
