My 858 didn't rust!!!

Wow!! Yeah I think I might pick some up, coz I just ran out of break free. Is it just regular WD40? What's with the LTCI business? Are they making something different, because I've never heard of WD40 LTCI.
WD-40 Long Term Corrosion Ihibitor (LTCI)

What I'd like to see added to the comparison test is a section coated with plain old WD-40 -- the least expensive version. I don't relish the idea of spending almost $17 on a can of LTCI when the "traditional" version may perform even almost as well. I want to see the performance increase you get for the extra bucks. But if the LTCI is shown to be head and shoulders above the regular version, I'll spend the extra and use it as the very last step in the cleaning procedure. Doing that, a single can should last a very long time.

If anyone has found the stuff in a Canadian store, I'd appreciate knowing what that store is.

i often clean my gas system before i leave the range. it seems to get it the worst when shooting corrosive ammo.

i live near the ocean so humidity is not an issue. 1 time i left my sks for 2 days after shooting ~500 rounds and my large piston got raped. even after i scrubbed it clean there was some minor pitting. i wouldnt mess around like that with a cz or csa. to nice to neglect.
