So after some screwing around sighting in with an odd bunch of leftover ammo, and finaly figuring out that one click is roughly 1" at 100 yards? This is the final group I shot with some newer surplus. I was expecting a 1/4 moa gun but I guess I will settle for this.

1.500" ? What kinda ammo be dat you gun like ? Norinco ? Lookin' good BIG JD . I'm consistantly getting 2.00" to 2.250" with the same TRS 25 and Norinco . Getting 3.00" to 3.500" with the Chech ammo .

That's an awesome group.
The best I've ever done is 2" with my SKS. My CZ wonèt do quite that good. Mind you this is with open sights.

I'm guessing that's a joke. Also that you haven't tried to take your piston out to clean it.

This is probably a one off group, and it was just the last 4 rds in the mag, so the 5th could of made it 2" for all I know. And this is with the green cased non corrosive norinco from frontier.... just ordered another 1440rd case(the last? have lots of 720's left though).

I know that I will have to remove my sight to get the piston out(still can clean it), but its going on a diet of non corrosive for as long as the supply lasts.

I can't group this well with open sights, and the size of the black dot on the target is perfect for lining up the RDS. This wasn't with any sandbags or anything(I have to cut down a mag) just resting my elbows on the bench so probably a fluke group.

Cool. If you're going to run NC ammo then you shouldn't need to take the piston out more than once a year.
