This is my first post since I had the open-heart surgery (single bypass) on 5/10/07. All went well with the surgery but I am weaker than I want to be. It seems it hurts to do just about anything but you just force yourself to do it. I went to the surgeon on Wednesday and he allowed me to start driving again. The only real problem I am having is an infection at the top of the incision and that is being treated with antibiotics. I hope to resume my posts on the Internet in about a week. Regards, Richard:D

Welcome back, and congratulations on a successful surgury. Don't push yourself, and take it slow, and we'll be waiting right here for you when you're ready to come back full time. :D

Always enjoy your pics & posts. Get well soon!

OK, so how would you describe this in gun-speak?

1) I had my headspace adjusted.
2) I've been FTR'd, and returned to active service.
3) I've been de-coppered, bore lapped, and recrowned.

Hope you are feeling 100% soon Richard.

I know several people who have had the same surgery.
Some are up & running around in a couple of weeks, some take longer.
Take it easy I you will be back & well again soon.
Good luck.

Now that you have a zipper in your chest it will be easier every time you need a bypass!
Seriously, please get well and torment us once again with all the short barrelled handguns you can get hold of and carry around.

Well ####. The collector's value just got flushed.

Oh well. Might as well keep it around, might make a good camp/truck gun. :D

;)

Hope you're tip-top soon.
