My AR 15 came today!! PIC!

Now it's time to accessorize!

How's this? :D My dad gave my the knife a few years ago. I always figured it was a bayonet. It's a Buck, and has a cool sheath too. Do you think I could take it too the range like this? ;)

Your range MIGHT have a rule about bayonets, but it shouldn't be a problem, as long as you don't charge the target stands!

Nice rifle, and nice M9 - Welcome to the semi-auto rifle club!

(And real men use iron sights!)

Cheers,

Neal

Sorry to Thread-jack, but I'm a newb, and can't figure out how this works. I thought AR-15s and variants were prohibited?

Oh Very Purdy AR BTW :D

No, they are just all restricted by name meaning they are range only guns and need to be locked up at all times.

any advice where i can get one?, and whats a decent price?
been shopping for a while, dont know who to trust

Sorry for the off-topic and excuse me being a dumbass at this, but I thought that you can't have more then 5 rounds in a magazine under the firearms code?

Or can you have a full size magazine in there with rounds but the rifle has to be semi-automatic

sorry, but beautiful weapon you got man :)

I think you are confusing terms.

The rifle is semi-automatic. The mag only holds 5 round even though it looks like it holds 30.

To add to the confusion you can use mags that hold 10 rounds. The reason is that handguns can have magazines with a 10 round capacity. It turns out some AR lowers were registered as handguns. So by law you can use 10 round mags on them.

Confused? So am I. Welcome to Canada's gun laws.

Don't fight it, just enjoiy the ride......

But if you screw up, you go to jail.

haha, thank you for the answer.

Thats confusing really, but I'd love to pickup a AR15 once I get my license but from some of the pricing I've seen I don't think that will happen soon.

thanks again!
