your sks looks bad ass, it has a g36ish kind of vibe with that wartek rail. usually not a fan of the tacticool sks, but the archangel stock and that rail really go together well (except this gap at the back cover)

I tend to agree luke, but I think my reasons for the extra gap are solid, without it, my gun would rust apart within months. I shoot corrosives by the case.
Hoping the rest of the gun is sufficiently badass to make up for that. They really should have made that rear piece a clip-out removeable like they did the trigger block...
I believe he is showing a comparison between the Cavalier and this thread.

That being said that Archangel SKS stock is definitely the best looking one I've seen, especially with the top rail.

little tip about the archangel mosin stock 5 round factory mag.
they suck out of the box, they fall right out of the gun, its in all the reviews.
You have to file down the little tab on the back so it isnt as long... so the clip in the stock can catch it.
took me thirty seconds, on advice from dave at hical...
mag locks in tight now. sweeeeeeet.

yeah, now enjoy cleaning your SKS after using corrosive ammo.
The thing i like about these stocks for cleaning is they arent damaged by the usual chemicals, whereas the wood gets destroyed by any foaming bore cleaner or gun solvent.

I suggest going to maggrips.com and grabbing those for your mag... i have them on four of mine and its cheap, looks awesome, and way more comfy putting them in and out.

The damn thing is too long! (would have been with a normal stock too)
I have a barrel mounted bipod near the front sight...
When placing it on the rest, I am standing crouched behind the seat lol
