So had my BCl 102 for a couple months now and finally today was able to put some rounds down range. First off it's a used gen 2?!?( full ambi) original owner claimed 60 rounds through it and was able to get a couple moa groupings with 165grn match. I topped it with a Burris c4 3-9x40mm and decided to check for myself!
My fingers crossed that it was that accurate! All on a 100m bay. I started with a few 147grn norico, was getting 2-3moa ( only used to get the scope on paper. Then Winchester white box 147fmj was getting consistent 2-2.5" groups with the occasional 3" , federal premium with 150grn nosler ballistic tip, 2.5" groups, then moving to 165 grn federal premium with nosler ballistic tip were getting 1.5-2" consistent group, then tried Nosler trophy grade 165 accubonds and was getting 1.5-2" aswell. Then just out of curiosity I decided to use the hornady precision hunter in 178grn and dang I found the weight the gun likes I was finally getting 1" 5 shot groups!! Then tried some federal premium trophy 180grn bonded and they too were giving me consistent 1" groups.
The whole 4hr range day the gun ran flawlessly, not one malfunction, although I'm a little disappointed it doesn't like the 147-165 grain range of bullets tested thus far since I have an abundance ( all factory loads) I'm pleased that it shoots my two favourite hunting rounds consistently and reliably that I trust it to drop the big game animals I plan on hunting with it this fall! Although I may do a barrel further down the line!
