My best whitetail yet

Got him Saturday morning on my way back from my stand. 8:00 am rolled around and I was starting to get cold (-20c) so I climbed down from my ladder stand and started to walk the 3/4 mile back to the house. I only made it 50 yards from my stand and got just past a little timber stand and jumped this guy up out of his bed. He ran and hopped the fence over to the same side I was on and stopped at exactly 275 yards away. I quickly kneeled down and set the crosshairs of my Kimber 84L Montana 30/06 on his left shoulder and pulled the trigger. The 180gr Accubond dropped him in his tracks. Pics are in the link below.

Hope you dont mind i put the actual picture up. If you want me to take it down i gladly will. I can also put up the others if you like.

Also if you want to yourself just open each pic in a new tab or window and copy the link at the top then on here use the imbed picture button (the button is the one that looks like a pic of a tree next to the film reel on the toolbar above where you type here in the forum) and paste it in that typing cell that opens up.

Thanks for putting the picture up for me. I do all my posting from my phone, and use the mobile version of CGN so I don’t think there are as many options to posting pictures.

Thanks everyone for the compliments and the congratulations. It was a long dry spell, but worth it. I’ve turned down many bucks over the years, bucks that people said I was crazy for letting go, including a 140” that I turned down one morning in 2012 that I ended up letting my 12 year old daughter shoot that afternoon.
