I just ordered a USGI bolt kit from treeline ($96). Hope these pieces will stay in a little better lol.
 
You could try messaging Gothmog if you are needing a bolt tool. Not sure if he still has any but he did have a bunch made a few years ago
 
I made up a system that makes it easier. but definately not as nice as a tool.

30-06 casing with the casing filed near the base to create a flat spot for the extractor to pass by without touching.
2x4 with hole drilled to shove casing into and hold it firmly.
Small piece of metal very close to the hole size of the extractor hole through bolt.

Jam casing into 2x4 and brace on something. I brace it on the stairs.
Place the ejector and spring into the bolt.
Press bolt face into casing, compressing ejector.
Place small piece of metal into the hole on the thru side of the bolt where the extractor will be able to push it out in later step but also in the notch in the ejector to hold it, the point here is to hold the ejector tension and keep the ejector set.
place extractor and detent set spring and firing pin into bolt.
Press bolt into the casing to compress ejector again and snap extractor into place displacing small piece of metal placed in there to hold ejector in place ealier. ( you may need to use a small screwdriver to depress the extractor set spring before you can push it into place instead of just leaning the spring over.

Done. Say 'That was so much easier than the first time i tried putting that stupid bolt together'

I've got a 5 (or 6?) inch C-clamp I took the pad off of and replaced with a 45acp case, not glued on as it needs to rotate inside
Made a cut to it clears extractor
Clamp the c clamp in bench vice, place and tighten bolt in C clamp with bolt upside down. Once tight, use a small punch to tap out extractor.
I have a small speaker magnet on the vice that will catch the extractor detent sshould it fall out ;)
Installation is the reverse, with bolt right side up.
Works slicker than snail schit
 
Thanks for the offer Ardent, it's hard to refuse. I think I'll wait for my USGI parts to come in, but those parts may make another gunnut happy one day.
 
My USGI parts came in and I just got it back together. I used a head of a hex bolt to push the ejector rod back into the bolt and slipped the extractor in when it was all lined up. Took about 15 minutes of fighting...the tool would have been easier lol.

Oh ya. Tool is awesome. Another thing to remember (I learned from Savage bolts) do it in a clear zip lock bag. Way easier to find the parts when the "oh ####" factor comes into play.

I like that large clear ziploc bag approach. I will pass that tip on at my clinics! Thanks! I still prefer the large white beach towel in the bath tub with the drain plugged and shower curtain drawn. :D

Bought the Brownells tool and after a bit of cursing with it decided to try the 30-06 case.....wish I tried the 30-06 method first as it works great for the cost of an empty case

I think I follow you on the 30-06 case, got a pic to confirm what I'm picturing in my head? Also, someone explain to me the whole "30-06 casing in the chamber" works? I almost took my eye out with that ejector trying to put it back together, followed by crawling around the garage floor with a magnet for 20 minutes...
