Here is a pic of my first, and newly completed AR15. Its an Armalite upper with a mid-length, medium contour 16", 1in9" with a Vortex. The rail is a Larue 9.0 with Tango Down pannels and vert grip, as is the Eotech riser with a 511 mounted. The rear sight is a ARMS 40L. The lower is an Eagle arms with a Vltor stock and a MIAD grip. The trigger is a Jard non adjustable thats about 4lbs and a world smoother than the original. Lastly, its fed by a C-products stainless mag.

I had it out at Trenton this weekend with my friend who built my rifles consecutivly serialed brother, and it was a pleasure to shoot 1.5" groups at 100m through the Eotech. Thanks Mr. Stoner for the design, and the gang at Wolverine for their work and patience.

move that grip out!!and get a Vickers sling from OneShotTactical!!!

other that that sweet Rifle you got there

Where did you get that camo fabric? It's not regular BA iisue - no dots at the end of the paterns.

Looks like a former CF issue jump smock. Airborne!

Nice set-up Mark...looks like a really nice stick.

Nice rig and great engraving! I knew sombody else had to have 'Live Free Or Die' engraved on one of their firearms.

Lawrence D, The camoflauge pattern is the old CF Jump Smock. That camoflauge pattern was produced for Peerless Garments in Wpg to make military uniforms for Tanzania. The CF jump smock was being produced at the same time, so they saved time and money by using the material Peerless already had in stock. They even made combats from the same camo pattern for trials. You see them on eBay now and again for insane amounts of coin.

Yup, it's a CF smock. I got lucky last year and found a new one in my size. It took me 4 years of searching.

Lincoln Fabrics are not far from Hamilton. I had them send me some seconds of the old green combats fabric and made a pair of trousers from them. Excellent fabric madeo of nylon with loops of cotton in them. I could never understand why we didn't adopt the British DPM as it was the most effective camouflage in NATO and is still on par with our new Cadpat. All these years with the plain green. A shame really.

By the way the rifle looks well balanced.

Nice looking rifle. I didn't realize that Armalite had a medium contour. What's the dia under the handguards? This might be a cheap alternative until I can find a 1/7 middie.
