My Canuck LIVES AGAIN...

I still use my canuck pump. I only added the side saddle which i believe you hooked me up with the link for. I think im going to thin out the birds head grip as the swell at the base is just a lil large for my hand. Its become my kayak gun

If i put a synthetic grip on then id have to change the forend to match. lol. Maybe i have a touch of a mental disorder but stocks and forends must match for me or id toss it over board lol.
My issue is rematching the stain as my set has rather light colored walnut.
Another option was to just squish the end in a vise. Not only would it slim it it would in essence checker it as well. As you say they are cheap enough to experiment on

Short pump forend is $14.99 and raptor grip is $14.99. With tax and shipping from Bullseye North, you're looking at about $50. Quality is high and you actually have some weather/water (kayak) resistance.

However, if you're really cheap, you could simply reshape the wood grip and paint everything black.

Well i gotta make a trip to london soon. Maybe ill stop in and take a look at the synthetic stocks. My phone wont bring up bullseyes website. It keeps saying its unsafe and they have expired certificates. Im sure its an issue with my phone. I love the walnut look though

But I ordered another, and now I have plenty of spare parts, minus the receiver and mag tube!!

She flew off my quad and onto a gravel road where it met its fate under a Silverado 3500. I thought it stood up pretty well. ;)

OK, lol, that's not what happened. Actually, I tried to remove the mag tube and ended up cracking the receiver. Red loctite!!! So, I went into my shed and whacked it with a sledgehammer a few times to properly destroy it for scrap.

These are cheap enough to buy that I thought it would be more cost effective to do a mag tube modification myself. That was not a wise move. I've never seen such a bear of a tube in all my days.

always heat the mag tubes, mine come off no problem that way
