My loving wife bought me a Daniel Defence M4 V5 (no :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug:, not let me buy one, she bought it for me)

I will have some mock up pictures soon and a range report when I have installed my Geissele High speed NM trigger installed. This gun has the worst trigger I have ever felt.

Need ideas what grip to install? (Ithink I am going to try the umbrella corp grip seems simple and has a better angle)

I have the MIAD on my DMR and the MOE-K on my carbine... I tend to keep the stock collapsed on my carbine so the K grip worked well. The MIAD worked a little better on the DMR, since the stock is a little longer and the hand position was a little less vertical. Also, if you have large hands then the MIAD or the Ergo grips would definitely be good for you.

Congrats! Nice upgrade parts too! Where'd you find the Troy Battlesights?

As for grips, if I had to get another, it would prob be the BCM Mod1. The Umbrella Corp grip from OST is slightly more vertical than the BCM and easier on the wrist if you're shooting with your arms tucked in tight to your body.

Yah, the DD trigger is horrid! I polished mine and it's a LOT better but I'm going to still swap it out for a Geissele SSA. :)

Edit: Nice wife BTW! Does she have a sister? haha

Nice rig man, and damn you are lucky to get that as a present. Quick question though, have you mounted the troy micros on and tried looking through them yet? I read some people don't recommend them on an AR unless it has a rail riser because they are slightly lower and may interfere with sighting.

Lots of great ideas on the grip I am liking the idea of a more vertical grip like the umbrella or BCM

The Troy sights were from a freind, I have mounted them and they are LOW. Looks like I will JUST be able to co witness, I'll have to shoot it to see what cheek weld is going to be like?

I wish they hadn't lasered logos all over the upper. Looks like crap. It takes away from the looks of a really sleek and simple performer. Aside from those two little points it's a pretty slick looking carbine.

My only issue with it is that you have a pile of slick upgrades not even out of their boxes.. You obviously have way more self control than I do.
