My Confession - Part 2

Off topic, but I have used an aerosol can of ether for a torch.. Saves packing a bottle of propane and a tiger torch...I have vacuumed up powder, never had a problem...

the only real issue with vacuuming flammables is static...and in my line of work running a vacuum truck in the oilpatch i have to admit to having sucked up things without grounding that make powder look like sawdust...not saying its smart and ill avoid using my beater bar vac on powder but im still here...

Have opened a fresh can of different lot # powder ... & carried right on stuff'n the warm loads ... this without working back up from start. They did shoot great tho, the stiff bolt lift, that was a minor inconvienience.

Then there was buddy ... wanted to flush mount hisself a couple live primed 308 case heads into his canoe yoke, so he did... needed to shorten 'em up a bit to fit the holes, .... told him(1/2 seriously) to dose 'em up good with WD40 and then put 'm to the grinder, ... this should work', cause everyone knows brass ... it's non-ferrous y'see, 'n won't hardly spark at all ...... me retreats to the fridge ..... Ka-Boom. buddy in full vise-grip recoil. OOPS. bad idea that.
