My CSA VZ58 Carbine (5.56)

Looking good! There's only 10 holes on your target. Where did the other 10 go?
$30 of ammo in 84secs....

What camera are you using?

Just for a size reference. Next to 10.5 Armalite AR

Man I'd love a head to head review on how you enjoy one vs the other. I'm in the market for a 10" rifle and torn between the two.

You will eventually get both of them :)

I shot my AR more than anything else in my arsenal simply because I have a CMMG .22LR conversion kit. VZ is really nice to shot 5.56 so as AR, but feel is different. It's like a high-tech sports car vs american muscle.

It's not fair, I don't want to buy a 5.56 version... I'll get in so much trouble if I buy another rifle!

I hope you're getting paid for the advertising you're doing for Mr. Wolverine!

Very much looking forward to it!
I'm guessing the VZ is the American muscle?

That's what I like about the VZs too. Though somehow the AR magwell adapter adds another ###y point to it.

Yes. I love VZ now, being an AK enthusiast I've been forced to find an alternative and I am very happy now. It's smaller than an AK, more elegant, but it's got this red camp charisma :)

Is there a metal/aluminium mags for a 5.56 version out there?

Nice job id64! The Ar mag adapt makes this a worthy purchase IMO. A little ugly (the adaptor), but seems to work well. I agree with previous aimpoint comments, as co-witness is possible. The bushnell aimpoint clone works well too, and keeps zero well, with less damage to the wallet.

Thanks. Adaptor is not the bad cosmetically. Same shade of grey/black as other parts on the gun. I will try aim point from my AR just to see how it works, but I am really want to keep as virgin as possible.

Funny you say that, I leave the NEA handguard off of my Vz for the same reason! Take's away from the elegant simplicity somehow. Plus I can throw it on any time if I feel like it.
