mmmmmm
how mu ch do they usually run for? Is there a huge difference in quality between the MacMillan stock and the base one?
I want one, 20" barrel in .308. *drool*

Nice paint job. How does it shoot?

jimbo, there is no comparison between the quality of the HS vs the factory stock. The HS wins hands down. However, I use several factory sporter stock and they shoot great. They are lighter and I prefer a sporter stock for a walkabout rifle (prefer a sporter barrel too). The HS is a superior prone shape especially if you are not planning on moving around alot.

If you are handy with woodworking, you can modify a factory stock very easily to mimic whatever stock you want. Saves quite a bit of coin too.

I think there is about a $300 price difference, the McMillan is a better stock but was not available at the time I bought this one, so I smoothed out the factory stock and gave it a paint job.

Its a Tack Driver, very very accurate.
