My custom SVT 40 stock

Just wanted to show off the start of my SVT 40 build just fitted the stock still have to drill the hole for the cross bolt but every thing seems to fit nice

I'm looking to find a heat shield to cover the gas system and going to swap the butt stock for a Magpul PRS adjustable stock and still trying to find a scope mount

I was hoping somebody would do this eventually.
My dream? Sage M14 stock for an SVT-40, with side-mounted POSP scope.
Likely the closest to a Dragunov we can get besides the one guy that modified Dragunov furniture for an SVT-40.

Rockready69: Your rifle should answer the question as to whether these work best with forend tip pressure or free-floated! It will be interesting to see what you come up with to shroud the cylinder/ operating rod. Good luck with it.
