My CZ SP01 -I Love it & Hate it at the same time

Thanks for the reply. I called London Arms and they are sending me a new spring no charge.

As far as the magz go, I have 6 CZ magz which I keep very clean.

About the ammo, I had most of the problems while using factory ammo. Since I started reloading the number of stove pipes have been reduced and after I changed the main & recoil springs they almost completely went away.

I posted 2000 rounds so far but I forgot to post that I also did about 12000 rounds worth of dry firing.

I just hope the trigger spring is the last issue with this gun.

with factory ammo, use the 14lb, with lighter stuff, and if it feeds well, use a lighter recoil spring. You may want to polish or make sure the front of the inside of the mag is smooth as is the follower.

Try applying a small amount of gun butter, Slide glide, or some type of gun grease around the area it rubs against. I seem to remember that the problem may not be the spring, but what it may be rubbing against.

The only problenm I ever had is witha broken right hand side slide stop. Gun has a zillion rounds through it and is still as tight as the day it came out of the factory. Gunnar says he will have the gun back to me this week. Miss the darn thing.

Mine is a 1988 pre B and the new slide stops have a larger stem then the olders guns hence the reason for it being at Gunnars.

Take Care

Bob

I have a CZ-75, CZ-75B and an SP-01. Tens of thousands of rounds, not a single failure. Sounds like you got a dud.
