I had my DA Grizzly at the range today and pumped 4 boxes (20) of Winchester (WW) 1 oz. (1700 fps) rifled slugs through it at a rifle target 30 yards away.
I had previously sighted the shotgun in a 25 yards with 1 1/4 oz. Rottweill Brenneke slugs.........the accuracy was respectable but unspectacular with the Rottweill ammo.
I shot from a freehand standing position using the 1 oz. WW slugs and made one 2" ragged hole in the 10 ring of the rifle target.
I thought that was impressive accuracy for a purportedly "cheapie" shotgun.
The action functioning & shell feed was as smooth as a baby's azz.
My Grizzly seems to "like" those WW 1 oz. (1700 fps) slugs.
I went back to Walmart & bought the 8 remaining boxes of these particular WW slugs that they had left in stock.
The Grizzly will make a great brush busting deer hunting shotgun.
