Well I just got back from the range. Weather is cool/cold right around 0 degrees....low clouds and very flat light.
I haven't been out to the outdoor range since last fall and it's still got about 2 or 3 feet of snow, so the trek out to the 100 and 200 yard target lines is a bit of a chore.

Took my trusty marstar chinese sks and I was shooting Norinco non corrosive ammo.

This is my best 4 shot group (fifth went off target...I was too excited I guess)

Not bad for 60 year old eyes and open sights! (first pic post as well)

Impossible. An SKS is only capable of 6" at 50 yards. Just ask any Red Rifles regular. :p

Nice shootin'.

My Norinco has a funny habbit of sending 1 out of every 5 rounds way off like that too. I used to think it was me but it happends all the time :s

So, the trek out to the 100 and 200yd range, was too far, and you were shooting at 25yds.?
Still, excellent shooting for an SKS. Fifth shot likely went through one of the other holes.:)
