Im happy its finally done. I am surprized I am still married after this. I almost threw up when I added up the money I sunk into this thing. It turned out to everything I wanted.

I wish to thank Casey at Tactical Ordinance for putting the upper together. He did a great job.

I did the lower myself with guidance from AR15.com. Pretty easy. It took me a while, but not one mark on it lol.

I'm glad you didn't dress it up too much....seems these days too many shooters suffer from accessoritis. Its a serious condition once someone gets an AR

BTW, while those Troy sights aren't cheap themselves, think of how much more you would be set back with a set of optics

I Know, I am going to work with the irons for a while until I decide what I want to get. I am really in no rush anyways as I will be deploying soon. I am thinking I will be going to go with a short dot. I really would like to try one before I buy though.

Very Nice, thanks for the pics. I have a pair of Troy flip sights in the mail right now. I can't wait they look very cool on your rig. I'm no expert by any means but I bought a used Aimpoint Comp M4 from this forum and I couldn't think of anything I'd change. Very sturdy, quick on and off the gun, and super quick target acquisition with both eyes open even for a right handed left eye dominant shooter like me.

They are pretty sweet. I've had a few of them ;) Right now I'm using an aimpoint w/magnifier set up and it works quite well. Much lighter then the S&B. I'd roll the dice and if you don't like it, someone will buy it up in the EE. At least when you get back from tour you'll have the green to make your choice  Oh and Sweet rig dude
