my dream hunt would be

does it not seem like a piss off........that our dream hunts are other peoples back yards

Exactly what I was thinking! I've hunted (yawn) mulies and whitetails since I was a little kid in my backyard, and have always a week-long sheep hunt. It sure would be nice to have a 'hunter-exchange' system in place between provinces.

Back when I was young dumb and full of c*m I turned down a opportunity to go with my old man where he was guiding at the time in the Yukon. Stone sheep was on his mind and I was supposed to go with him. I changed my mind a few days before we were supposed to leave.

I will always regret missing that trip :(

So my dream hunt would be to head back to the Yukon with the old man for a couple of weeks of hunting. The plan is allready in the works and I know who my guide will be ;)

:D

One, when I can go into the bush behind my back yard and shoot a couple rabbits for dinner. Problem being, there is no bush... There is a neighbour.

OOh hand to hand combat with a south american headhunter, maybe thats a little over the top eh. I guess hunting bison from horse back with a bow, like the natives used to do. that would be pretty exciting

In the Alberta Hunting Regs under General Regulations #2) It is illegal to harass, injure or kill any wildlife with a vehicle, aircraft or boat.

Nicely done Davey... you should be ashamed of yourself...

I never once said they were wild. Anything else?

Sure you say that now... good save buddy... good save.:p
I believe you... honest...

Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump bears witness to a custom practiced by native people of the North American plains for nearly 6000 years. Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump is known around the world as a remarkable testimony of prehistoric life. At the bottom of the cliff among the bones of hundreds of buffalo you can see the bent frames and broken helmets of the crazy-davey tribe....
