My dream pistol is in my safe!

Life is Good

That is a great looking pistol...congratulations.
We are all lucky to have the chance to own and shoot great 1911's.
If you come up to the Edmonton area, drop me a PM and we'll head out to the Spruce Grove Range and compare pistols....another great part of the ownership experience.

I'm in Alberta but not familiar with the dealer. Do they have a website?

Amazing piece. I've been looking a lot myself at the higher end spectrum of 1911 and I really like Browns for their "cleanness" and "classic" look. Very nice looking and probably a dream to shoot!

Enjoy the piece, you got what you paid for :)

Even a Liberal has to admit that you have a fine piece of gun art there, It will always be worth what you paid if you were to sell it. This is the kind of thing you want to pass on to progeny...:)

I'm in the east so I won't have the chance to visit your range.
Yes they do. 1911bdw dot com

nice, except I know I'd hate the stippled front grip. it's not an sti frame is it?

No, it's entirely built in EdBrown shop, see their website. It's the proprietary chainlink pattern on the Special Force model. On a flat mainspring housing there would be the same pattern. The Kobra model has scale-like pattern. For extra cost you get standard checkering made to perfection (25lpi I believe).

Picture requested. I asked no engraving on this side of the slide. I blured the 4 digit SN, 7###.
