dont think so . it looks like the trigger and the grip were moved to that location, the grip were mod at the top and the bottom rear to clear the mag .

It's a conversion kit available in the US. It came to be when one guy bet another guy there was no way he could F**K up an AK, this was the result.

Never fired one and don't want to, I got to handle a couple and they are just stupid.

Personally, if it's reliable in a tight situation, I would rather carry that around than a standard model. I grant you it would take a little getting used to but it would certainly be handy in tight quarters and if the barrel is full length you wouldn't lose any useful range. Good, innovative design, reliable and proven base weapon, what more could you ask for? I'm not a fan of extended mags so a shorter mag would be even better. By the way I don't like extended mags for personal reasons, I could care less if anyone else wants to use them.

The important thing to consider with this monstrosity is that is a cheapo $30.00 BSA Red-Dot scope on top, and guess what, they work just fine on AK's, VZ's, and in general, anything 7.62x39 and under in caliber. They were designed for .22's. Not bad for a cheapo red-dot, eh?
