My Fabarm is in (PICS!)

So far all the comments have been about the looks. Can owners testify about the simplcity/complexity of the mechanics? How reliable is it? Also can anyone post some pics of slugs vs. paper target? Someone earlier mentioned "Why even bother with sights on a 14" SG?" I am curious what paper targets look like with slugs? With buck? Any help would be appreciated. I am now seriously considering dropping my acquisition of a .308 target rifle and getting the SDASS heavy combat. No PG, GR sights 20".

Simplicity/Complexity: It's like a Benelli and Remington 870 put together.

Benelli in terms of quality and the fact that you can ride the hammer home (no dry firing required - Love that!).
It's a Remington 870 in all other aspects; if you've stripped an 870 it's the same thing the bolt works the same way, etc.

Because it is mostly aluminum it is very light (another huge turn on) and shooting it kicks - it's a trade off I am more than willing to accept.

It's very smooth in operation.

My only con for these is that I think the bores should have been much more finished-smoother than they actually are.
I was expecting mirror shiny, but instead it looks like it's been finished with 400 grit sandpaper.

:D

But, for the price I paid ($549 - cheapest model) I am content and love it - Best shotgun for the money IMO.
