My Fathers Pistol S&W 455

I know this is a long shot but I thought I'd give it a shot .
I'm wondering if the current owner is a member here
In the early 1980's my father passed away & his pistol was sold in the lower mainland.
It was a early S&W revolver caliber 455 Serial # B65238 .
The chambers were modified to shoot 45 long colt as well .
I still have the original registration green slip

I had to check the serial numbers on mine, no dice. Would have been pretty neat if it matched, and I'd definitely pass it back to re-unite the family.

A quick check through the RCMP should be able to tell you where it is. It should still be registered if it's still in the country,right?

They may confirm if it is still in the registry.
But I'm sure they wouldn't provide any info on current owner if there is one .
I know who it was sold to in the 1980's.
I contacted him 6 years ago & he couldn't recall when or who he sold it to 20+ years ago

call the cfo and have them pass your information over to the registered owner of it, they cannot tell you who owns it now but they may be able to relay a message from you to them, if they decide to contact you then you might be able to win them over and get it back
