My first 10-22

I just bought my first Ruger 10-22. It's the new RB CIII the Monte Carlo stock and Schnable forend. The wood is French wallnut typicaly light with nice darker figure. See it at the attached link. From what I read on the net, I'll probably do some trigger work on it. What brand of ammo does your 10-22 like?

Definitely one of the nicest factory Ruger stocks.

As for ammo, try a few different brands and see what it likes. Most 10/22 will feed, and shoot well, just about anything under the sun. My SR-22 liked CCI Mini-Mags.

Both of my rugers like the Federal bulk and Winchester Super X. I get the Super X in the 333 pack. It's less expensive

Stingers in all 8. Fed or Win bulk packs to save some $ sometimes.

Federal bulk pack work fine for plinking in any of mine.
When shooting for score I use CCI Target mostly because my MKIII prefers them.
