My first 9mm pistol boiled down to these choices. What do you think - I'm a lefty

I am a left handed shooter and have done lots of research and have shot a majority of the guns you listed. The 2 guns that i found fit me the best were the Walther PPQ and the S&W. The issue with the PPQ is that mags are hard to find (that could have changed) and they are also expensive ($65 per). Therefore cost factor my suggestion goes to the Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm.

You folks that are suggesting Sig are either missing the left hand reference or haven't actually shot one. If there is ANY handgun that is MORE right handed I can't think of it.

Shikano, you didn't miss anything. The Sigs are as firmly right handed as you suspect.

If you don't know it already the mag release can be flipped around on the CZ to come out the right side for use with the left hand thumb. You can't flip the slide lock around though so it's not totally ambi like some other guns.

Absolutely right . As much as the Sig is an excellent pistol, it is the least lefty friendly gun.

Congrats on the purchase and thank you for going out and handling them first. Nothing makes me sadder than someone who takes our opinions as gospel and buys blind because the most important opinion is yours.

That aside, I know exactly what you mean.. I have gotten my hands on tons of firearms and you can quickly tell when something is 'right'. Great feeling.. (Especially if the price is right haha)
