Anybody have any feelings on the results? See a lot of mistakes on my end for the shooting that may have made a specific group better then it was?

Was a real struggle with the wind that day sadly, fortunately we used the ladder test.

Knowledgeable input is welcome, especially to reloading experts!

I have been far too busy lately to really shoot. But I had some custom work done on my Rifle, a new brake, finally have my Alphamount on the rifle and also some really sick bipod spikes.

Full report + pictures will come when I can do some testing =)

I was wondering what the hell you've been up to Koshy... What custom work? And will any of it void your warranty???

I've gone back to shooting after a long hiatus with my master's applications - got some nice loads. Plus, looks like a longer range (600 yds) is opening up not exceedingly far from me, so I'm really looking forward to that. When august comes around, though, I'll be living the student lifestyle again (i.e. a bum) so not sure if I'll be able to afford shooting as often as I want to! Gonna make the most of the summer...

Where have you been shooting? Connaught? Did you try any long range stuff? Do tell.
 
We Can go an shoot the hell out of it at 50Yard, Hahaha, I bring the Hotdog and hamberger and start the sight in at 25yards. it all done now, just finish bee blasting the other day, I am modify a Savage 20Moa base to fit the Styer, it will be a Nice shooter.

No, the custom work is with the bipod, scope and brake only :p With the brake it feels like a little more than a .22 now... rofl

I'm glad you are shooting! And that is awesome you are getting a long distance range :)

I have been shooting at Silverdale (200 yards max) and a few times at Camp Borden (have shot out to 500 but shooting out to 800 or so this Sunday!)

My rifle is managing sub 0.35 with factory FGMM 168 gr at 100-200 yards consistently x5 shots (lowest being a 0.2 MOA group at 100 yards) now with everything proper on and with finally having a rear bag now... lol (about time right?). Haven't had a chance to do anything besides a 3 shot group with my 155 lapua 46.0 gr which managed about a 0.4 MOA group @ 100 yards... and about 2850 FPS (24" barrel 1/12 twist) but I know I can get it a lot lower than that once I have time to work on the seating depth, etc (lapua is known to be picky in that regard). Also I'm sure having the proper setup now will help :p
