My first AR completed...

Well... not quite but close. I've thought about it for a while, and decided to go for it. I went ahead and built my first AR, and cant say I could be much happier. The only changes that will be made are the optics (possibly variable power, but dont think I can afford it yet :p), XTM panels, sling adapter and vickers sling. (BTW, if anyone has, or can recommend a forward sling adapter for the rail that would be great.)

One fellow who I couldn't have begun to do this without is Abhobbyist. He helped me a long, provided a lot of information, parts, and threw it all together for me, so a big thanks goes to him.

Specs:

- Noveske Afghhan 14.5" Upper
- 12" Troy MRF
- TD VFG
- Vortex style FH
- Troy front/rear BUIS
- Dlask tac latch
- Noveske Lower
- Magpul MOE stock and grip (will change eventually)
- Eotech 512 (Will be up for sale soon)
- Eotech Magnifier with FTS mount (Will be up for sale soon)

(Gun and magazine were unloaded :) )

Nice weapon! Just got my Restricted PAL this week, so I'm debating on whether I should build or buy complete. With all the components on the market (and pictures like yours) I'm thinking a build is the way to go.

Any advice from the board would be appreciated.

Is there a thread for this?

Building is usually a good option, you can source good parts out for cheap. Now im no expert and am in fact a noob, but if your going to go into it and want to do it right, wait for something that is of good quality. Everyone seems to feel really good about LMT, but new complete LMT's run over $2000. You can make a whole thread about this topic, if you have any questions PM me and I will be happy to help you as much as I can with my limited experience.

Hey you, how did you get your name to say '#### star' underneath???

I have never figured out the CGN labels, I have seen someone with official CGN greeter, the standard ones, and now #### Star....do you have a lot of posts in the photo gallery or something?
