My First AR!

Hello all. I'm happy to announce that I'm now the proud owner of a new to me Remington R-15 I went into the store planing on buying a new Norc AR. Turns out I walked out the door with this one with many extras included in the deal (optic, mags , range bag, grips and a AR specific multi tool). The end total was only around $100 diffrence compared to the new norc. I feel I got a good deal

Nice pick! I'm sure it will last you longer than the Norc. They are fine ways to start, but many sell and upgrade once they get the bug...

And thats why I wouldnt buy a Norc, unless it was alot cheaper. For the extra pennies this one is going to be much better for you. Congratz!

Well done, Remington AR's are built by DPMS who while not considered high end have been making them for a long time and do produce a reliable well built rifle. You definitely made the right choice.
Now go buy a sh!tload of ammo and go shoot it. I still enjoy shooting my AR's more than any other rifle.
