I'm about to start my first AR build (along with my precision build). Thanks to Irunguns I have the first piece of the puzzle. Its going to be a slow process as I have a couple of other projects ongoing. So far I have the receiver only. Next I'm ordering the BCG and parts kit. I'm wanting to keep it all Black Rain Ordnance, but the upper might be the hard part. View attachment 35191View attachment 35190 Pricy little sucker. Is there a specific tool kit I should get for the AR build?.. Thanks

This kit here will give you pretty much everything you need. Well plus some common tools, set of good punches, nice lil brass hammer. http://www.amazon.ca/Battenfeld-Tec...8&qid=1443317348&sr=8-2&keywords=wheeler+ar15
Or there is a pro kit for an extra $100.http://www.amazon.ca/Battenfeld-Tec...8&qid=1443317704&sr=8-1&keywords=wheeler+ar15

That's pretty much the basics. One thing I would suggest is buying a small kit of extra springs and detents. Nothing like waiting a week for a $5 detent. lol Just take your time on the forward take down pin spring and detent :).. That kit has a good lil tool for it though. Also put some tape on the reciever if you're going to be hammering tight against the side wall. Especially when doing tapping in the bolt release spring pin. Other than that it's pretty easy. Hope that helps!

I'd recommend a Magpul BEV block as well.
