hey guys,

went to P&D this afternoon to check out what's new these days (way too busy with school to play with guns)

was talking with chris and he showed me this beautiful and beefy beretta, and he said it was the special duty version and its on sale, after about 10 minutes, i decided to take it...

it is quite a beefy pistola, thick and heavy slide, no safety (the lever is a decocker), great great trigger, night sights and on sale for 1325

its my 3rd pistol, and the most expensive one to date... frick... i gotta stop this impulsive buying or i'll go broke!

shoots the same, good choice for a pistol. Lots of nice things about that gun, likely be my next competition gun, once I burn out the EII.
if you need to have a trigger job done, or any other work done to it, let me know.
 
Hey, I just picked up my first Beretta too! I bought a used 92G Elite 2. I've yet to take it to the range but i'm certainly looking forward to it. :p The gun came with 9 mags, three of which are "inox?" mags. Anyone need extras? Actually surprised how well the gun is laid out for a lefty. I'll let you know how it goes on the range.

I was there when you bought that gun!!! And yes, I would be interested in the Inox mags to go with my 92FS Inox you fondled!:) PM me!
 
Vertec might even feel better in my hand to hold than regular size model , but a regular 92Fs feels better when I'm actually shooting it; easier to hold on to...
 
Well, went to the range today and put 80 rounds through the Beretta. Heh, it's pretty nice. SA trigger is well, soo easy to squeeze off rounds. Target was at 25 yds and I pretty much ended up with decent grouping although it was a bit low and to the right consistantly. I pulled out the Glock and ended up in nice groups in the center of the other target. Wondering if my sights are off ( didn't really like the ones on the Beretta) or if I'm holding it differently than the Glock and its a hand position problem. Regardless, sweet gun, happy with my purchase, lookin forward to getting more use out of it.
