The brake really does a great job, along with the overall weight of the thing. I actually find the recoil on mine is less than on my 30-06 Rem 700. So much so that I took the 700 in to get it threaded and a brake put on.

I just had a rail put on the bottom of the stock and a monopod added. I really wanna go try it soon to see how that helps with stability (and therefore accuracy).

Try standing beside both rifles while another person shoots them, you will notice which one is the braked .338LM very quickly lol.

Exactly! The air concussion felt by those off to the side is substantial. You can easily feel the air pressure change. Pretty cool feeling if you've got proper hearing protection.

Oh yeah I totally agree and on my short video its actually pretty neat, the rifle doesnt move at all but you can clearly see that the air around the muzzle changes drastically.
