My first Black gun

My 180B arrived in the mail today. First one I have seen in person and it's pretty good. The plastic forearm is a little weak feeling, but nothing that can't be changed. I had a FN years ago (when they were just restricted) and I never should have sold it, but I think this thing could be a lot of fun. I need some glass and more mags and I should be good to go.

I just got an AR-180 as my first black gun as well off another CGN'er. VERY fun to shoot. Mine came with an M4 stock on it with a Stormwerkz rail and a 4x scope. I may get another rail and an Eotech or an Aimpoint, we shall see. Enjoy!!

As I've told you already, ditch the factory ring abortion and get yourself a Storm Werkz rail!

And yes, the handguards are "flimsy". Mine never did fit properly. All the more reason to put on a railed foreend!

KDX, the factory rings work, with the right scope. Any other scope and you have little or no movement to adjust eye relief.

those of you with both the AR15 and AR180 ...how do you like them compared to each other? It would be nice having a non-restricted 223...still can't bring myself to get a Mini-14.

+1! My Base RRA Standard A4 came to around $1400 with taxes. Eight months later I've poured $3400 into the rifle and counting (I'm currently debating an ACOG TA31F). The Black Rifle Disease can be devastating on your social life and education as well.
