a varmit and target toy ..22-250 X-bolt stainless stalker w/ fluted barrel ... Swarovski Z6 2.5 x 15 x 44 scope ... very satisfied :) ... and no I didnt with the lottomax ... (the folks who did with the 40 million live in a small town about 25 km from me). 1500 for the gun and 2400 for the scope, money well spent.

I had a browning a-bolt stainless stalker, they are good guns. Swapped it out for an a-bolt m-1000 eclipse stainless. Once again, happy with the browning. They seem to build good quality guns that shoot from what I have found.

buy the good stuff,...buy it once,...get what you want,...you'll feel good everytime you open the case and pull the trigger,...better to have one Swarovski than 5 or 6 Bushnells,...you can only look thru one at a time.....bet it'll shoot.

I know it was a fair bit of coin to spend, but like I said it was my first and dont plan on getting "to many more". Been wanting to get one for along time now ... 15 years now and finally got off my butt and did it.

I spent about a month deciding on a scope, and planned on only spending around a 1000 for one, but couldn't find one with with the ranges I wanted. The only way to get it was going with expensive glass, and from the research I did Swarovski seemed to a be good scope.

The wife wasnt to thrilled at first either, but now she loves to shoot it too...and has a pretty good eye as well.

Just finding the grain size I like and now have the scope set to my satisfaction so will be seeing what "it and I as a team" can really do in the next bit. So far I'm very happy with it and can "most times" get about 3/4" spacing at a 100m 2 outta 3 times.... but a bit a practice and finding the right reload should be able to improve it to 3 outta 3 .. I'm hoping.

Thanks for the compliments.
