My first Browning shotgun!!!!!!! Update, post 22

Congrats on your new acquisition. That was a fine shotgun in its day and still is. However, steel shot warnings...(actually its soft iron)... are wise direction. Also because the gun has had its choke constriction opened up I would be suspect that this was done by the previous owner(s) as a modification to make this more steel shot safe. Lastly, its too bad the stupid lead ban has been extended to upland birds such as doves (I am aware they are migratory birds). I would think one would shoot dove with 6 or 7 steel and this fine stuff would do little to no damage to an open bored shotgun as this. Your call dude...

Finally got to shoot some trap with it! Man is it ever sweet, comes up and points perfect and shoots like a dream!! I was pleasantly surprised how little it recoils for such a light gun, could easily shoot and carry this all day long.
