Installed a remington 700 aac 16.5 inch .308 on a AICS 1.5, bushnell tactical elite 5x15x40 (i know cheap glass) with a 20 moa rail. Also a APA little bastard muzzel brake and a badger ordanace bolt knob. Havent shot it yet but its like being a little kid again at christmas.

seriously, the new skin is ugly as Alien, and its full of holes and shapes that dont make any sense, and it doesnt adopt the AI monopod ;(
in my mind the Old Skin version AICS/Arctic Warfare rifle is the most beautiful thing in the world.
so jealous Lt got one! ;D

I like those Elite 5-5x40 AO tacticals. Mine seems excellent, sharp image, dependable so far. I think its a good scope for the money.

Ordered the AICS from CRAFM, got lucky. Thier website does not show that they sell the AICS but they do and it broke a land speed record getting to its new home.

not yet, budget has been blown. A new trigger down the road but a new barrel thats in the next province.

My only question is why not go with the folding chassis? It would have worked nicely with the 16.5" barrel. Other than that congrats on a nice rifle.

It was a matter of money, 300+ dollars for folding option. For that type of money I will gladly take off the cheek piece for cleaning the gun.
