my first color fill on my ar

Now that I see the above post I'm pretty sure the first time I saw the nail polish used was by redddogg69

Just a bit of negativity in this thread. Whatever happened to "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything"?
Oh right... It's the internet. Good job guys.

OP, I like it, looks like you did a nice job!

He asked our opinions. I think it looks terrible - but it's his gun and he can do with it as he chooses.

Since when are opinions only supposed to be positive?

I could have posted what I really had in the back of my mind, but that would just hurt his feelings...

Not bad at all. I'll admit that I'm not a huge fan of the green, either... But that's just personal preference.

Your gun, your call. And if green's your thing, you've got a winner here.

Everyone's a critic.

My wife finally got around to doing up her AR 15 in "Muddy Girl" camo, using a peel off/stick on kit that you shrink on with a heat gun or hair dryer. She had some recent pics in her purse that her dental hygienist noticed and in showing off her latest grandson pics, the AR pics were noticed.

The ladies thought it way cool. The Dentist asked - "Are you part American?" That shows how much the AR 15 has become iconic in the minds of many, truly "America's Rifle".

The op asked for our opinions on his work. So we voiced them. I for one think the green looks terrible and said so. If my opinion offends you and your positive, sunny disposition then I suggest you post on another forum where everything is all super happy with magic fairies and unicorns.

I like. Not sure I would pick the same colour choices as you did, but excellent job none the less. I really need to get on this with a few of my ladies.

Just finished this for my wife

Feminizing AR 15's is a great thing to be doing at this juncture in time. EVERY woman ought to own at least one in pink or "Muddy Girl" camo. The more women we get shooting and active in th shooting sports, the better.

My wife had pics of her "Muddy Girl" camo'd AR 15 that her dental hygienist noticed in her purse. She and the others thought it was "way kool". The Dentist said - "Are you part American, or something ....?, like it was un-natural for a lady to own such a rifle.

The AR 15 - it's not just for macho men and wannabe mercenaries any more - ;>)

From a guy who did his SKS in John Deere colours I have to say it looks good. I do prefer just some white and use a Markal B Paintstik. Used for marking most anything it gets rubbed into the engravings and any excess is wiped off.
