My first Cooey 22 anybody own one??

I've got a small cooey single shot that has Eatonia stamped on it. Bought from Eatons years ago by my Grandfather. I also remember my Dad telling me he bought his 600 brand new for $12.50.

Is there 2 styles for the 600 ? This one has a steel trigger guard and is grooved for a scope with a checkered stock. Mine, like all the others i've ever seen has a rabbit on the stock, plastic trigger guard and no groove for a scope. What's the story here ?

Calum - My old cooey single shot used to do the same thing but i changed the extractor and it's like new again.

Got my Model 64 semi in 1970, it was used and in excellent condition.
Its still in excellent condition. Doesn't like shorts but cycles everything else flawlessly. Plenty accurate too.

cooey 600

got one for $60 a couple of weeks ago it was made by winchester in couburg ontario. aside of tube feeding it is an awesome plinker. it will take anything you want to feed it or whatever you find in your ammo stash. i like cb long. fires like a air rifle and at 30 yards i get a rabbit in the eye.

I tried the cooey 600 w/ the scope and it shoots pretty damn good at 25 yds. (didn't try any farther, didn't have time). Thinking of maybe selling, it was an impulse buy. Don't need it....but kinda like it....sorta want a semi. I dunno.

I guess I'm doing a$$ backwards my first gun was a .35 remington and a 12 guage shotgun.....most people start w/ 22's and work their way up. I guess most of you fellas had cooey's growing up. :)
