Just got an agrement with Sean of North shore barrels, to have my first complete build in 308 with all the good stuff on it, i am very happy to do business with juan valdez and will finally be able to compare a custom rifle side by side with my Nemesis Vanquish 308... One thing is for sure after talks with Sean (mails) he is sure are very knowledgable person, for my self i am a green horn in the world of custon rifles, that will be extra interresting... JP.

This rifle will be topped by a Sightron Slll 6X24X50 LRMD, the mildot reticule is the one i want on this custom made tactical rifle... JP.

Because most civis don't need a real coyote, a clone works fine and will shoot as well in most cases once the proper load is found. Plus a real coyote is a serious financial investment that a lot of people either can't afford or would rather save a few bucks for glass and ammo.

I have a clone, love it and it shoots great!
Sean does an awesome job.

Surely but for me, i will be able to compare a custom to my Nemesis, both with their best tailored load on the same course, by the same shooter, in the same condition, i WILL find out for myself were in the scale the Nemesis is sitting, as for a couples of years , the general concensus is that a takedown cant be as good or better than a custom.... This gonna be just great and plain fun, on the other hand if the custom is superior to the Nem, i will just say it out loud just here, Sean from North Shore is very reputable so i know my rifle will be top notch... Two rifles... One shooter... The moment of truth... Sound like the trailer of a movie...Lol... JP.

Sounds interesting Caramel, I look forward to your results. I am currently on my third build from Sean and waiting for my fourth. So far they are all great shooters, I don't think you will be disappointed.
 
I know what you mean, but it not what you need, it what you want, beside get what you really want(you Heart desire), because when ZoMBIES apocalyptic happen, you want the best rifle in your hand, I dont think that will ever happen, but you never know.

I agree with you, get EXACTLY what you want or you will never be happy. Me, I want a reliable rifle that shoots little tiny groups as far away as possible regardless of the brand. Sean's rifles have never let me down and are accurate and reliable. Are they as accurate and reliable as a Coyote? I don't know, never had the chance to put them side by side in a fair comparison. I do believe the Coyote is an awesome rifle, and if I ever had $5000 sitting around with no bills to pay I might just snap one up, but for now I am very satisfied with my rifles from Sean as I can not only buy the rifle but also put top quality glass on it for roughly the same cost as just the Coyote rifle with no glass.

And I am not too worried about the zombies.
 
A clone of a COYOTE? We are honored and await the inevitable side by side comparison with the Nemesis...

Yes they say the sincerest form of flattery is imitation and you guys have a great rifle, among the very best available to be sure. Sean makes great rifles too and they work and shoot great, I am sure the original poster will not be dissapointed.

Coyote clone my ass. What you have is a rem 700 clone with a broughton spiral-fluted barrel, you either have a coyote or you don't.
