My First Decent Provincial Park Buck

Anyways this guy was shot Nov.17 at 9:30am at 60 yards quartering away running from me, hit him in the last rib taking out his lung and heart. Usually i would let one like this go in hopes it survives a cpl more years, but i was watching a doe to my right and was grunting without relising this buck was on my left finally he figured out i wasnt a deer and took off and thats when i noticed him so i just saw Antler and figured "Hell ya He is a Shooter"

lots of mass for a young buck 7 1/2" bases, 22 1/2" mains, 20 1/2 outside spread, 18 1/2 inside spread, 15 3/4 tip to tip. The is the biggest buck i have taken on public land so far and i am happy as hell too lol.

No kidding! I noticed the same thing. You can even see a hint of a smile on that buck in the last pic.

it was in the Sandilands Provincial Forest, forgot to mention was shot with my Remington redneck special semi auto in 30-06 165gr hornady interbonds.

thanks for comments on the photos. I bought a digital camera specificly for hunting and fishing so i could capture field pics instead of the messy back of truck photos i usually have.

I may look less excited then i was but that is only because i was trying to explain how to take a photo with my camera to my father then quickly closing my mouth so he wouldnt take abunch of pics with me yapping lol. My nephew in one the photos has a big enough smile for both of us.
