i found this guy snooping around my back yard about 400 yards away last night. and saw him the morning before lurking around the neighbors chicken coop

he's getting made into a full mount and i have the perfect spot for him

the gun is a custom weatherby thumbhole laminate varmint in a .223 shooting a 50gr speer tnt bullet @ 3500-3600fps. it's more of a killing bullet than a fur friendly bullet, it made a pretty big mess (2" out the back but foxes are considerably smaller than coyotes) but it's accurate and it always leaves anything i shoot at dead in their tracks so i like it.

i couldn't be happier with my weatherby it'll hit anything. the bdc scope is nice too

When we raised chickens we had to shoot a few foxes, but now I let them pass. Most land owners like the little fellows around, because of all the mice they clean up.
