My first confirmed gopher sighting of 2009. I just had to document it. So close, so very close.

I shot one three sunday's ago but I couldn't find it after the shot. I used my 223, I was calling coyotes. I never mentioned it on here because I didn't get photos.

Figures... exactly where you can't shoot. I've got a hare eating the birdseed on my front lawn every night here in the city too.
I swear they all know somehow about city bylaws.

Took the wife rabbit hunting a couple of years ago... all dam day, not a rabbit anywhere. Get home that evening and there is a #### huge jack right by the front door. They know, the bastards know where they have the law on their side

Shot about 30-35 today while testing out my new Savage Mark II BV. The tough part was walking through the field...I think I found the only field in S Alberta that has 2+ Feet of snow on it!!!

What a work out...I cant wait until I can drive out and shoot from my truck.

I just got home. I've been touring the backroads all Morning. I never saw a single gopher, but found some promising fields for later in the year. I did see a golden eagle and two speedgoats though.

Thats why its nice to have a bow when its dark out . not that i'd condone it, neighbors can be really pesky.... mine's a bit of nuisance
