My first handgun is a pure fantasy....

If I had the disposable cash I'd consider the whole kit with all calibers in hard chrome.

Does the gold one come with a free set of "Grillz" :)

Enjoy the sweetness Caramel.

That is a smokin' deal Caramel! Is this ammo factory or re-loads? If it's factory, that's like half price! Imagine "plinking" with .44 rem mag...months would go by before the smile came off my face:p.
That's factory, a friend of mine, just had to stop shooting for heath reasons, he called me and offer the ammo and the asked price, that was obvious i would not bargain on that, i just took them all, i also got a nice Winny Trapper 44 mag ( love the saddle ring) for an extra 550.00... JP.

I don't see any real haters here. But there are sure a lot of jokers.... :D

Congrats on the dream toy. And matching it with the rifle in the same round is fantastic.

As for the choice of .44Mag over the .50AE I agree that it is likely a better option. At least you can get brass for the .44Mag on a regular basis and it's not as expensive. Looking at my local Starline brass supplier I see that .44Mag brass is $138/500 where .50AE is $262/500. That's just a hair less than double the cost for the .50AE brass. And at full power loads you're likely only going to get something like 15 to 20 reloads before the brass splits. And maybe not even that many. And there are a LOT more options for bullets in .429 than in .50.

Notice I'm looking at components? I sure hope you plan on reloading almost immediately. Or that Eagle will eat you out of house and home. I can reload a .44Mag for around 25 to 27 cents a pop depending on the bullet and powder. Compare that to up around a buck a pop or more for factory .44mag.

As for the big flash if you go with powders such as 2400 and H110 you'll get all the flash you need to match your new pimpin' image.... :D
