My first handgun *pic*

Well, after way too long, I've finally used my RPAL to its fullest potential. This little gem was waiting at the Post Office for me when I got home from work tonight. (I ordered it just over a month ago)

I'm the first to admit, it's not the prettiest or most expensive toy on the block, but I'm surprised at how much I actually like it. The only reason I got it was to in-expensively join the ranks of restricted firearm owners, but I haven't been able to stop playing with it yet, let alone put it away. It's almost as if it's already got a full history under its belt. Must be the old design and its odd imperfection.

Sorry the picture isn't what it could be. I've got a crappy camera.

(does anyone know where I can find a holster for it?)

I have one since 1 year now and I'm very happy with. It's not the nicest but I fired 1700 rounds whith no malfunction. I think, that you will have a lots of fun whith your new toy.

Is that a Norinco from Wolverine? Let us know how it shoots, whether it is a picky eater, etc. I think .22LR pistols are the most underrated tool in the cabinet.

I've had my eye on this pistol for a while as well. A rather cool gun. Simplistic beauty. I really like .22 rimfire guns and if/when I get my RPAL I plan on getting this little beauty as part of my collection too.

It's actually from Marstar. Unfortunately, I won't have a chance to use it until May which is when the Range I belong to re-opens for the year. You wouldn't think a little snow would stop anyone... too bad we don't have a little, we have a lot! And from what I hear, we're expecting 9 more feet this month alone! I guess it's time to invest in some snowshoes.

Good choice for a first gun. Very affordable and I think you'll appreciate the accuracy and lack of recoil for years to come. Always a good idea to start with the little guys.

Genuine Colt

If I'm not mistaken, isn't that a reverse-engineered Chi-com version of an early Colt Woodsman?
Heard they have rough chambers....How do the Chi-coms fix it when it gets broken?
